- I-40
- Exit 279B - Durham Freeway-North (Route 147 North)
- Exit - Cornwallis Road
- Turn right onto Cornwallis Road.
- Continue through the first light.
- Continue for .2 miles, the entrance to MCNC is on the right-hand side. (If you get to the next traffic light, at the intersection of Cornwallis and Alexander, you have gone too far.)
- Once you have turned into the MCNC driveway, Building #1 (Microfabrication & Administration) will be straight ahead and to your left.
