Dhruv Patel
Senior Manager, Capital & Technology Development

Dhruv Patel manages the entrepreneurial education and capital programs at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), the largest entrepreneurial support organization in the nation. At CED, Patel is responsible for program development, early stage company mentoring, and strategic direction. Patel runs the FastTrac TechVenture program, a world-renowned training and mentoring program for technology and life science entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining CED, Patel worked with the Piedmont Triad Entrepreneurial Network as the Director of Research and Roundtables where he conducted industry research and directed executive roundtables. While earning his graduate degree, Patel worked as a Licensing Associate in the Office of Technology Transfer at UNC Greensboro. Patel completed his undergraduate degree while living in India where he worked for the largest private sector bank in the country – ICICI.

In his professional career, Patel has worked with more than 200 early stage companies and innovators in technology and life science entrepreneurs, investors and entrepreneurial networks.
