Three Triangle High School Students Awarded 1998 BTI / CED Young Entrepreneur Scholarships

Research Triangle Park--The Council for Entrepreneurial Development, in conjunction with the Grand Opening of its Entrepreneurship Center May 20, 1998, announces the three winners of its BTI/CED Young Entrepreneur Scholarship. As a part of CED's efforts to stimulate entrepreneurial development by supporting the entrepreneurial dream in young people, CED teams up with BTI to award the scholarships. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded to three high school students--one for the Best-Run Student Business and two for the Best Dream Business Plan, to help them further develop their entrepreneurial skills. In the past only two winners have been selected, but judges were so impressed with the quality of this year's applications they added a third scholarship award.
